Pic of the Week

I don't why it is I haven't shared this image of Barbara Palvin until now, as it is such an striking photo of the Hungarian beauty. The woman is gorgeous.  Not only does she have an incredible face, (something to do with those amazing features of hers) but I love the juxtaposition of uber finished, rich colour palette of the 70s inspired ensemble with the broken patio blocks, weeds growing between cracks and the garden chair. The trees make for a beautiful backdrop. I LOVE those flares! (with obligatory platforms poking out from underneath).

And the make-up is pretty phenomenal. HELLO EYES.

She currently stars in the L'Oreal Studio Line Matt and Messy advert where she canoodles with a hunky unnamed male model. Every time it comes on the telly I can't help but voice how stunning I think she is. You can watch it here

She messes with my head.

Fancy some more male models or eight?!

Finally, I am sharing with you, what I promised way back in April. See here.

I say we begin with my favourite.

Sebastian Sauve
The big lipped beauty

I think it's fair to say I am obsessed with Seb, as I like to refer to him. He is such a babe - really, really beautiful, very tall and has the most fantastic pair of lips (something I love). You should definitely follow his Facebook page, aptly named "Seb is fantastic" (I couldn't agree more) as he is constantly posting his latest shoots, editorials and catwalk appearances. I much prefer being bombarded by his face than the mundane declarations of  bed times and meals eaten from those I haven't seen in years. Do you know what I mean?
I promise you will not be disappointed.

As Sauve was born in America to American/German parents and lives in England, I wanted to hear his voice, as well as confirm the pronunciation of his surname, of which I assumed was "suave." (Anyone else?) On researching, found this cute video of Sauve being interviewed backstage the Frankie Morello A/W '11 show.

I also found that we have so much in common. He, like myself, is a Leo, loves food, dancing and his idea of fun is to "laugh his arse off". We're practically soul mates.

I could post literally hundreds of pictures of Seb and all models but I will let you have all the fun finding those.

First off, watch this video.
It has a good message which is quite rare in the fashion/modelling industries. Although I don't believe in fate, it ends with a really lovely, positive message.
This guy ain't no show off.

L’Afrique c’est Chic

Here is an absolute gem from the December 2011 issue of Vogue Australia starring the blonde, full lipped long legged American that is Katie Fogarty. I discovered these fantastic images a while ago and have the majority of them saved on my scheduled list for some time; ready and waiting for a rainy day. Although today is in fact rather bright, albeit windy, I feel a splash of colour and print is never a bad thing - especially in January. Plus, WONDER FULL could do with it after a couple of month's hiatus.

Impeccably styled by fashion editor Naomi Smith and shot by Max Doyle on location in the sandy African desert, the collection of photographs are beautifully finished, excessive and fun with an abundance of clashing print, bright colour, stripy heels and a few rather fetching headscarves. Perfect summer dressing right there, no? It's hard to pick a favourite but I think it would be the image above if I was pressed. Not only are Fogarty's legs pretty phenomenal but her stance is strong. The Maison Martin Margiela yellow fringed mini dress by and beaded platform sandals by Burberry Prosrum is exactly the kind of ensemble I would wear on holiday in the evenings. I also love the image where Fogarty sits in a chair and those side profiles accentuate her beautifully vivid eyes without even a trace of mascara. She is absolutely stunning. And my my God she can work a stripe and plum lip.

What do you make of the editorial? Are we a fan of Fogarty? Have any of you been to Africa?
