Smoulder and Mystify

The hair is delicately swept across a flawless, made-up face. There are wide, open spaces, hazy views wandered by a tousled beauty. It is a cigarette, a sultry glance, blurred background or a suggestive hair pull-cum-closed eyes and side ward pose. Or even a bouncy curl. Any of the above immediately conjure an image that is sensuous, provocative, uber sexy, an element that every one of the following photographs have at least one of, if not every single one.

This week and beyond in pictures

Interning
Giving my time to a women's lifestyle website in Chelsea, London. I look forward to commuting to a wonderful part of the city where duties include, amongst many other things, overseeing the website and researching for articles.

Graduation
On Tuesday I finally graduated in BA (Hons) Fashion Journalism. It was a truly wonderful day spent with thoseI have had the opportunity to work with over the past few years and close family members. I was exteremely nervous (as the picture suggests) walking up to greet the legendary Zandra Rhodes, a combination of maintaining my balance and remembering to smile as the camera panned onto our faces as we strode on stage to collect our scrolls.
Afterwards, we had drinks and my parents treated me to a truly scrumptious meal and bottle of Champagne to celebrate my achievement.

Holiday
My holiday wish came true! I cannot tell you how happy I am that my family eventually booked a holiday to be spent in the wonderully sunny location of Turkey. Sun, escapism and a whole lot of fun awaits me!

Birthday
I will be turning 21 at the end of the month and I am extremely excited to know that I will be on holiday.. celebrating by sunning it up and watching the sun set before dancing the night away.

So... a holiday IS ON the cards and that means one thing - a complete lack of posts from me. But don't fret! Stay tuned to discover my goings-on when I return.

In the meantime, whilst I am lying flat on a sun lounger, enjoy these pictures.

What exciting things have you been up to?

Sail away with me Honey...

Inspired by the lyrics of a certain David Gray song (ones that will forever remind me of a cruise spent, well, cruising the beautiful seas of the Caribbean and Mexico; singing them as we slipped away from Miami harbour). Sigh. I am in desperate need of a holiday and I was hoping to be sitting on the beach or lying by the pool (preferably with waiters in tight shorts at my every beck and call... "Another Bloody Mary please!") by the time I hit the big 2-1, but something is yet to be booked. The weather has been quite nice in England, I hasten to add, but it's not the same without a pool.. and no men swanning about. But I am pessimistic- adamant that I will be planning a trip soon. I'm thinking Malta (has anyone been?) or Italy (Mmm.) In the meantime, if you have a longing feeling to get abroad, these beautiful holiday-related pictures will cheer you up. If there is nothing on the horizons as of yet, if the sun is shining, go outside and enjoy it...
