Sister Act

I love everything about this picture and their outfits. Firstly, those leopard print platform sandals are amazing and their effortless stance simply grasps you and your eyes. And those tights?! Only Elizabeth Jagger could pull them off. Teamed with a leather dress, they actually look stylish, although I would personally rethink the footwear. I'm more of a chunky, strappy kinda girl. I recently purchased the Carvela Annie suede platform (perfect for both summer and winter), adore my Office wedges and my favourite pair of shoes are my incredible ASOS mega high sandals. Oh how a girl can go on about shoes. Anyway, back to the gorgeousness that is the 19 year-old Georgia May Jagger. Here, she looks truly stunning and effortlessly so- those rouge tinted lips and with Lizzie's sideward stare makes for a great publicity shot. Did you notice the matching handbags- of course! They make a good picture don't they? But it's in their genes what with their mother being Jerry Hall (55!) and all.

The women in the Jagger family seem to refrain from ageing- it's astonishing that Lizzie is 27 years of age. I personally think she looks a mere few years older than her sister...

The photograph was taken at the Hugo Boss fashion show in Berlin on Thursday night, the full story of which you can read here.

Sisterly love
I'd know all about that having 2 younger sisters myself.

What do YOU make of their outfits?

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

After a discussion at the dinner table tonight about who was the most attractive English beauty on viewing the new Lancome advert with Kate Winslet, it got me thinking about my choices and who others think. My sister was adamant that it is Kate (she is utterly stunning, an amazing actress and the English Rose), although Thandie Newton sprang to my mind and I'm completely in love with Emma Watson. My Dad didn't know who Thandie was and as for the other names I thought to be the most stunning; Victoria Beckham, my Dad didn't agree and Keira Knightley, whom I loved with short hair, my Mum strongly disagreed (think she has a problem with that exaggerated pout of hers) but who do you prefer?

Or is there someone else?

C A K E it on.

Just a little selection of pre-Christmas treats in the form of sweet and delightful cupcakes painted with icing and sprinkled with a variety of tasty treats for you to lust over. Thanks to my little sister who aspires to be a chef and own her own restaurant, baked these spongy delights the night before she had to ice them in school as part of her Food Technology course. She is loving it at the moment, creating tasty things to eat in the form of Victoria sponges, pastries and quiches. When she brought these home on Monday I got a little over excited, not only because they looked amazing, creative and most of all yummy, they gave me the perfect opportunity to grab the SLR again and get snapping. After all, I need all the practice I can get in preparation for my Final Major Project next year. I love my food and like my sister, have always helped out in the kitchen- stirring sauces, chopping vegetables, tasting here and there for seasoning. There is something fulfilling in creating something from a few ingredients that can become a meal for all the family to enjoy, if not a little fast-paced! I can't really say the same for fifteen cupcakes, as they are probably the most funnest things to make of all culinary creations, but they tasted gorgeous and Christmassy nonetheless with a cup of hot tea and a warm bed.

WONDER FULL(y yummy)!
